Reports
Reports turn your orders, invoices, and payments into figures you can hand to your accountant or use to plan the week. Every report covers one date range, shows its totals at the top, and ends with a table you can export.
Open Reports under Operations in the sidebar.
Pick a Report and a Date Range
Select a tab to switch between the five reports. The date button in the top-right corner works the same way as on the Dashboard: pick Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, or a custom range of up to one year.
Days follow your restaurant's timezone. An order placed at 00:30 at your restaurant belongs to that day, whatever the timezone of the device you read the report on.
The report and the range are saved in the page address. Bookmark a report or share the link with your accountant and it opens on the same figures.
Sales
Sales come from completed orders, by the time the order was placed. Orders that are still pending, preparing, or ready are not counted until they complete. Cancelled orders are counted but carry no money.
| Figure | What it means |
|---|---|
| Net sales | What guests owed after discounts, including charges and tax |
| Completed orders | How many orders completed in the range |
| Avg order value | Net sales divided by completed orders |
| Discounts | Total discounts applied |
| Charges | Service charges and fees on top of the items, before tax |
| Cancelled orders | How many orders were cancelled |
| Gross sales | Item prices before discounts, charges, and tax, in the table only |
Net sales and Completed orders show the change compared with the period just before your range.
The table has one row per day, or one row per week when the range is longer than a month. Each row shows gross sales, discounts, charges, tax, and net sales, with totals at the bottom. See Service Charges.
Items
Items show what sold, from the item lines of completed orders. Items group by the name and category they had when the order was placed, so an item you renamed or deleted last week still appears under the name guests saw.
The table lists every item with its quantity sold, the number of orders it appeared on, gross sales, discounts, and net sales. Best sellers come first. When a range has more than 5,000 items, the table and its export keep the top 5,000 by net sales and say so above the table. The charts show the top ten items and the share of each category.
Taxes
Taxes come from issued invoices, by invoice date, so the figures match the bills you gave your guests. Voided invoices are excluded. If your plan does not include invoicing, this report stays empty.
| Figure | What it means |
|---|---|
| Tax collected | Total tax on issued invoices |
| Taxable sales | Sales of taxable items and charges, net of tax |
| Non-taxable sales | Sales of items and charges with no tax |
| Invoices issued | How many invoices were issued, with the total amount invoiced |
Taxable sales, non-taxable sales, and tax collected add up to the amount invoiced.
The table has one row per tax rate, exactly as printed on your invoices. A class with two rates, such as CGST and SGST, shows two rows. Each row shows the number of invoices, the taxable amount, and the tax collected. Export this table when you file your tax return.
Payments
Payments show money in and money out: payments by the date they were received and refunds by the date they were returned. Voided payments never count.
| Figure | What it means |
|---|---|
| Collected | Payments received in the range |
| Refunded | Refunds returned in the range |
| Net received | Collected minus refunded |
| Outstanding | Balance still due on invoices issued in the range |
The table has one row per payment method. A refund counts against the method it was returned through, which can differ from the method of the original payment: a card payment refunded in cash shows under Cash.
Tables
Tables show how each table performed: sessions started, completed orders, average order value, and net sales. Every table appears, including inactive tables that had activity in the range, with the best earners first.
Export a Report
Select Export CSV above any table. The file downloads at once and opens in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets. It contains the rows of the table and uses the same columns.
The file name carries the report and the range, for example taxes-2026-03-01-to-2026-03-31.csv.
