Sign In and Your Account

You need one account to use Grubbitt. The same account works for every restaurant you own or work at. There is no separate sign-up form: the first time you sign in, your account is created for you.

Sign In

1. Open the sign-in page.
2. Choose one of the sign-in options:
   • Email: type your email address and select Send magic link. Open the email we send you and select the link. You are signed in without a password.
   • Continue with Google or Continue with GitHub: sign in with an account you already have.
3. After signing in, you land on your restaurant list. If you have no restaurant yet, you go straight to the restaurant setup form.

Accept an Invitation

When a restaurant owner or admin invites you, you receive an email with an invitation link:

1. Select the link in the email.
2. Sign in if you are not signed in yet. Use the email address the invitation was sent to.
3. Review the restaurant name and your role, then select Accept invitation.
4. You land on that restaurant's dashboard.

If you see Wrong account, you are signed in with a different email. Select Sign out and switch account, then sign in with the invited email. Invitation links expire 7 days after they are sent. Ask the person who invited you to resend it if it has expired.

Update Your Profile

1. Select your avatar in the top-right corner of any page.
2. Select Profile.
3. Change your name under Edit profile and select Save.

Your email address comes from your sign-in method and cannot be changed here.

Switch Between Light and Dark Mode

Select the sun or moon icon next to your avatar to switch the dashboard between light and dark mode. This only changes what you see. Your guests' menu has its own colors, which you set on the Menu Appearance page.

Sign Out

Select your avatar, then select Log out.

Get Help With Your Account

Select your avatar, then select Support to open a ticket about your account. For questions about a specific restaurant, use that restaurant's Support page instead. See Support Tickets.
