Work With Invoices

Invoices let you bill guests for orders placed during a table session. You can group one or more completed orders onto a single invoice, then track whether the guest has paid.

Invoice Lifecycle

Each invoice moves through these states:

StatusWhat it means
IssuedCreated and open for payment.
VoidedCancelled before settlement. Record a reason when you void.

The settlement column tracks payment progress:

  • Unpaid: no payment recorded.
  • Partially paid: a payment covers part of the total.
  • Paid: total matches payments received.

Create an Invoice

From the Invoices page:

  1. Select Create invoice.
  2. Choose one or more completed orders from the same table session.
  3. Confirm the customer details. You can adjust the name, phone, email, or tax number on the spot.
  4. Select Create to issue the invoice.

Only completed orders appear. Orders already on another open invoice are excluded automatically.

Review an Invoice

Open any invoice to see its line items, discounts, and tax breakdown. The detail page shows:

  • The customer and table information captured at issue time.
  • Each order linked to the invoice.
  • Item-level totals, taxes, and discounts.
  • The current settlement status and any recorded payments.

Void an Invoice

Select Void invoice from the detail page. Enter a reason. Voiding removes the invoice from the active ledger but keeps it in the system for audit.

An invoice tied to orders that already generated payments cannot be voided. Refund or void the payments first.

Print or Share an Invoice

Select Download PDF to generate a printable invoice. Send the PDF to your guest by email directly from the invoice detail page.
